DAUGHTER, YOU DON’T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH WHAT I DID.

When I was twenty, everything seemed simple.

A razor before putting on a dress.

Waxing if I wanted the result to last longer.

Cut myself? It happens.

Irritation? It’ll pass.

Waxing hurts? I’ll put up with it.

I think my generation knew one sentence far too well:

“IT’S FINE. I’LL PUT UP WITH IT.”

And then twenty years go by.

And you realise it was never about one razor or one appointment.

It was about hundreds of small repetitions.

Before a date.

Before the pool.

Before a workout.

Before a trip.

Before a spontaneous, “Shall we go tomorrow?”

It’s not a tragedy.

Just background noise you get so used to that eventually you stop noticing it.

And then I look at my daughter and think:

WHY SHOULD SHE HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME THING?

YOU HAVE A CHOICE I BARELY HAD WHEN I WAS TWENTY

Back then, laser hair removal wasn’t a normal, familiar option for us.

We didn’t think:

“Maybe I could do a course of treatments and gradually reduce hair growth over time?”

For many of us, the choice was much simpler:

SHAVE MORE OFTEN — OR WAX LESS OFTEN AND PUT UP WITH THE PAIN.

Today, there are more options.

And I’m not telling you:

“You have to get laser hair removal.”

You don’t.

Body hair is normal.

Whether you remove it or not is entirely up to you.

But if you already reach for a razor regularly or book waxing appointments, there’s only one question:

WHY GIVE THIS ROUTINE ANOTHER TWENTY YEARS OF YOUR LIFE?

If, when I was twenty, I’d had the option not just to remove the hair today, but to make it something I would have to deal with less and less over the years, I would at least have wanted to know that option existed.

THAT’S WHY I WANT YOU TO KNOW.

IF YOU DECIDE TO DO IT, I’D RATHER HELP YOU NOW

I won’t buy you another epilator.

I won’t pay for another waxing appointment.

And I definitely won’t say:

“Just put up with it. All women do.”

I’d rather help you go through a professional course of laser treatments — if you decide for yourself that it’s right for you.

Not because laser promises to remove every single hair forever.

THAT’S NOT HOW IT WORKS.

It takes a course of treatments. Hair grows in different phases, so the results appear gradually. Later on, occasional maintenance treatments may also be needed.

But the most important thing changes:

YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH HAIR REMOVAL LESS AND LESS OFTEN.

Less shaving.

Less waxing.

Less waiting.

Less shaving also means fewer chances for irritation and ingrown hairs.

Less of that familiar thought:

“I need to shave first.”

WHY START NOW INSTEAD OF APRIL?

Laser hair removal isn’t something you do “a week before summer.”

It’s September.

There are around seven months until the real warm weather arrives in Rijeka.

Treatments need to be spaced apart. Autumn and winter give you enough time to calmly complete a significant part of the course.

BY MAY, YOU COULD ALREADY BE WELL INTO YOUR COURSE — INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT IN APRIL.

The sea? Of course.

But the sea isn’t the main character here.

Everyday life is.

Putting on a dress simply because you feel like wearing one today.

Going to a workout.

Saying yes to a weekend away.

A date.

A spontaneous plan.

And not starting any of it by checking:

“What about my body hair?”

DON’T START PREPARING FOR SUMMER AT THE LAST MINUTE.

GO INTO IT ALREADY FEELING DIFFERENT.

WHY I WOULD TRUST THE NOW BEAUTY LAB WITH THIS

Laser hair removal isn’t just about having a good device.

What matters is who assesses your skin and hair, who chooses the right settings, and who tells you honestly what kind of result is realistic in your particular case.

At The NOW Beauty Lab, laser hair removal is performed by Kateryna — the salon director and a specialist in both laser and traditional hair removal.

That matters to me.

Here, they work with waxing, sugaring and laser.

They don’t pit one method against another.

Each one has its own purpose.

WAXING — A RESULT NOW.

LASER — SO THAT, OVER TIME, YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH HAIR REMOVAL LESS AND LESS OFTEN.

First, they assess the skin, hair and treatment area and determine what result is realistically achievable.

Then comes the course of treatments.

WITHOUT PROMISING MIRACLES.

DAUGHTER, I DON’T WANT TO DECIDE FOR YOU

I simply know something that, at twenty, you can’t fully know yet:

HOW QUICKLY A SMALL ROUTINE CAN TURN INTO TWENTY YEARS OF THE SAME ROUTINE.

If you’re comfortable with a razor — that’s fine.

If you choose waxing — that’s fine too.

But if you’re already tired of it now, you don’t have to wait another twenty years before finally saying to yourself:

“I’ve had enough.”

And if you choose a different path —

I’d rather help you start now than one day hear you say the same words I said for so many years:

“IT’S FINE. I’LL PUT UP WITH IT.”

NOT EVERYTHING A MOTHER PUT UP WITH HAS TO BE REPEATED BY HER DAUGHTER.
